BOB SIMMINGER PRESENTS FEATURES/BENEFITS OF HELIOS® LAMPS
January / February 2005
LOS ANGELES, CA & ORLANDO, FL - On January 12, 2005 and February 2, 2005, Bob Simminger, Theatre Sales Manager for LTI, delivered a presentation on LTIs new Helios® xenon lamps at the International Theatre Equipment Association (ITEA) Seminar Series in Universal City, and at the United Drive-In Theatre Owners Association (UDITOA) convention in Orlando. In addition to discussing features and benefits of the new Helios® lamps, Mr. Simminger also highlighted applications for xenon lamps and reviewed some of the aspects of LTI that make it a world-class manufacturer.
The ITEA Seminar was well attended by a variety of industry players including theatre owners, technicians, and manufacturers, while the UDITOA convention drew drive-in theatre owners whose large screens stand much to gain by using Helios® lamps.
During each presentation, Mr. Simminger discussed these new lamps, which feature the first xenon design improvement in 30 years. Key features include lower power consumption, less required air conditioning, and lower lamp cost per screen foot-lambert, which result in lower total operating cost of ownership; other features include brighter pictures, vivid colors and high definition picture quality for unparalleled performance. In addition, Mr. Simminger also presented technical data concerning screen luminance readings of Helios® lamps vs. standard lamps (equivalent wattage) in flat and scope mode.
