LIGHTING TECHNOLOGIES INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES TERMINATION OF EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT WITH GENERAL ELECTRIC

BALDWIN PARK, CA – January 8, 2007 – Lighting Technologies International (LTI) announces that its exclusive distribution agreement with General Electric Lighting for ceramic xenon lamps has been terminated effective January 1, 2007. This agreement, which had been in place since March 2003, provided that GE would be LTI's exclusive distributor worldwide for ceramic xenon lamps manufactured by LTI. Ana Simonian, Vice President of Sales for LTI, stated "This continues to show LTI's commitment to the specialty discharge lighting market and will provide additional growth opportunities for our distribution partners."

"With the ceramic xenon product line, LTI is now one of the leading specialty lighting manufacturers in the world serving the cinema, medical, photoexposure, front projector and rear projection television markets," stated Tom Hardenburger, VP of Marketing and Business Development.

LTI will be offering its ceramic xenon lamps in 300W and 175W sizes in industry standard configurations.
