LTI XENON LAMPS LIGHT 9/11 MEMORIAL

Lighting Technologies International is pleased to announce that 70 of its xenon lamps were used to illuminate the night sky over the Pentagon on September 11, 2006, commemorating the terrorist attack on the Pentagon on September 11, 2001.

Using 50 of LTI’s 7K Helios® lamps and 20 of LTI’s rugged 10K xenon lamps, 184 beams of light emanated from the Pentagon’s center courtyard - one for each individual who died in the 9/11 attack. The task of lighting the memorial event was expertly handled by LTI’s customer Syncrolite, based in Dallas, TX. A photo of the illuminated skies above the Pentagon appears below.
